Vision and Values
Our Vision
In Christ, we form one body and every member belongs to all the others (Rom. 12:5)
As an inclusive Christian school we welcome children, families and staff from all religions and beliefs or of none. Everyone is valued equally. Every member of our school community shows care and respect for each other through strong relationships.
We work together to prepare the children in our school with the skills they need to:
- know the importance of self-respect and respect for others
- develop strong, healthy relationships within their communities
- achieve well so they have the best possible choices in their futures
- thrive in a diverse and changing world
Our Values
-
Love
-
Service
-
Equality
These are our values which underpin the work in our school, as well as across our community. The British Values support this and are reflected in our school values.
- democracy
- the rule of law
- individual liberty
- mutual respect for and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs and for those without faith
Children get one chance at education and at St Michael’s we want to make sure it’s the best!
