VE Day 80th Anniversary

The children had a wonderful day yesterday. They enjoyed learning and celebrating though lots of different activities during the day. We hope you enjoy the photographs below.

It was lovely to see so many parents visit the VE Day exhibition after school to see the children’s art work. A huge well done to the children for their amazing work. The photographs and stories from our families and staff were interesting to read so thank you for sharing them with us. We know the children really enjoyed looking at the pictures and learning about these real life people.

A big thank you to the whole school community for making yesterday’s VE Day 80th Anniversary celebration such a wonderful experience for the children. Thank you to Mrs Williams for organising the day along with Mrs Ballinger who organised the art exhibition. We would like to give a special thanks to 47th Regiment Royal Artillery Welfare Team who lent us their bouncy castle and to Mrs Evans and the kitchen staff for making the cakes for the children to enjoy. Thank you to all parents and staff who worked to make this a special day for our children.
