Football Festival - Year 5 & 6
BackOn Wednesday 3 teams of year 5 & 6 children were entered into a football festival held at Avon Valley Academy.
We ended the tournament with our Y6 team finishing 2nd in group 1, our Y5/6 mixed team finishing 3rd in group 2 and our Y5 team finishing 2nd in group 2! . What a superb achievement by everyone involved.
As always it’s important to acknowledge how well everyone represented the school. Their respect, sportsmanship and endeavour was a joy to watch. We saw some outstanding goals, acrobatic saves and last ditched defending that demonstrated just how dedicated our teams were. They celebrated each goal as a team and picked each other up when they conceded. There was a real show of team spirit throughout every moment of every match. We’re so proud of you all!
