Tri-Golf Festival - Year 4 & 5

On Thursday a group of children from Y4 and Y5 made the trip to Stonehenge School for a Tri-Golf Festival, where they had the chance to represent the school in a sport that was brand new to most of them.

After 8 challenging activities that tested their skills of putting, chipping and team work they finished the morning with 1159 points!  During these activities the children showed incredible levels of respect to the sports leaders and had lots of fun along the way.  The level of focus and determination they showed was outstanding and inspiring to watch.

At the end of the festival we were awarded 1^st place across the whole of Wiltshire and offered a place in the summer School Games competition!  We are so proud of their achievements and look forward to them representing the school again.  Congratulations team!
